Job Description

  • Develop high-quality, original, and impactful written content for digital platforms, including but not limited to websites, blogs, social media, and marketing collateral
  • Maintain and reinforce the organization's brand voice and tone in all written materials, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Interpret creative direction, adapting points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts;
  • Write clear, creative, highly engaging social content that reflects a brand’s voice;
  • Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets;
  • Produce multiple copy options that adhere to a brand’s style guidelines and values
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and relevant topics to create content that is informative, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams, to align content strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the production of design collateral and collaborate with team members to align copy with visual execution.
  • Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and coherence, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
  • Incorporate comments and edits from an editor and modify copy until client is satisfied
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance the discoverability and ranking of content on search engines.
  • Manage multiple projects with short deadlines


  • A bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a content writer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples.
  • ​​One to two years of work experience writing for beauty brands, beauty magazines, and other related industries
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner.
  • High fluency in US English with a strong command of grammar skills
  • Understanding of different language styles that appeal to various target markets
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different tones, audiences, and platforms.
  • Strong interest in beauty, fashion, and pop culture
  • Understanding of English idioms, expressions and sayings
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience as a senior copywriter a plus
  • Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style a plus
  • Currently residing in the Philippines


  • Familiarity with SEO principles and the ability to optimize content for search engines
  • Proficiency in using content management system platforms for content creation and ideation
  • Experience with editing tools and software to ensure high-quality content, such as grammar and style checkers
  • Basic understanding of content analytics to measure the performance and effectiveness of content
  • Ability to gauge, understand, and leverage various social media platforms for content distribution and engagement
